VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: FOR THE LOVE OF PHOTOS

We sat down with Michael from Michael Murphy IV Photography to talk wedding photography and candid moments.

As wedding photojournalists, it’s our goal to capture your story in a true and honest way.  This means becoming part of your event and documenting the story from the inside out.  We believe the best images come from real, authentic, unaltered moments.  Our job is to be fully aware and tuned in to those moments to allow us to capture them and deliver the full story of your wedding day.  One of our most common responses from clients upon delivering their photos is along the lines of “wow, you captured so many moments that we didn’t even witness ourselves on our wedding day!” What a great way to relive your wedding through your photos.

Weddings are a once-in-a-lifetime kind of day.  Hire a photographer you trust and then allow yourself to be fully present, enjoy the company of your friends and family, and celebrate your wedding day to the fullest. This will give you the best experience possible on your wedding day, as well as the best images to remember it by.  Another way to get the most out of your wedding is to do a first look and portraits before your ceremony, if possible. That way once all your guests arrive you can fully enjoy their company for the rest of the evening rather than leaving for portraits. This day only happens once. Drink it in!
